Foundation for Free Flight - Women's Initiative Fund Sweepstakes
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE, DONATION, OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, except New York, and Washington, D.C., who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and board members of Foundation for Free Flight ("Sponsor") and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
2. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. In-person and donation entries must be received by Friday, December 11, 2026 at 12:01pm Pacific Time. The random drawing will take place on or about Friday, December 11, 2026 at 8:00pm Pacific Time.
3. How to Enter:
• Method A (Donation Entry): Go to Foundation for Free Flight and complete a donation to the Women’s Initiatives. Donations can also be made in-person at the Topa Brewery on Friday, November 13, 2026 during the Santa Barbara Soaring Association party. Participants will receive 1 entry per $10 donated.
• Method B (Free Mail-In Entry): To enter without making a donation, hand-print your name, address, phone number, and email address on a piece of paper and mail it in an envelope to: [*** WHERE TO MAIL TO?], Attn: Sweepstakes Entry. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Monday, November 30, 2026 and received by Thursday, December 10, 2026 to be eligible for the drawing.
Limits: Equal odds apply to all entry methods. Limit of 50 total entries per person, regardless of method of entry.
4. Winner Selection & Notification: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about Friday, December 11, 2026 at 8:00pm PT from all eligible entries received. Drawings will be conducted in descending order of prize value (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize.). Winners will be notified by email or phone within 5 days. If a potential winner does not respond within 5 days or fails to provide tax documentation if required, an alternate winner will be selected. Limit one (1) major prize per household.
5. Prizes and Taxes:
• First Prize (1 available): Tour to Macedonia with Convergence Paragliding in 2027. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $4200 OR $4400?
• Second Prize (1 available): Ozone Solos GT harness, or similar. ARV: $1500
• Third Prize (1 available): SIV with Max Acro in 2027. ARV: $1425
Total ARV of all prizes is $7125. OR $7325
No cash substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. Important Tax Note: Winners of any prize valued at $600 or more must provide the Sponsor with a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize can be awarded. A Form 1099-MISC will be issued to those winners for tax reporting purposes. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
6. Release & Limitations of Liability: By participating, entrants release Sponsor from any liability, injury, or loss resulting from participation or the acceptance and use of any prize. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
7. Winner's List: To request the list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor's address within 30 days after the drawing date.
