The USHPA Women’s Committee is proud to offer several kinds of scholarships and grants to support women’s’ progression in free flight, thanks to the generosity of USHPA, the Foundation for Free Flight, and our partners.
Currently, we are offering the following individual scholarships, focused on hang gliding. The application deadline is April 30. Please see requirements and the application here.
Full H1 scholarship from Windsports Hang Gliding
Weekend hang gliding package from Lookout Mountain Flight Park
Additionally we are very proud to announce our first Ladies’ Fly-in Grants. Limited grants are available to support fly-ins focusing on female and non-binary pilots. The deadline is 3 months prior to the intended to the fly-in date. Please see requirements and apply here.
